A 65 years old man was caught red handed in a compromising position with a 30 years old woman whom he brought by befooling her in the name of providing medical facility. The woman- who is stated to have been suffering from a heart disease was found drugged and in semi consciousness when they were caught in a room at Grace Colony, Langol Tarung. The alleged womaniser has been identified as Thongram Chingkhei (65), and the girl is the sixth victim trapped by him. Wrath over the immoral attitude, locals and club members of Grace Colony Youth Club thrashed him black and blues and latter handed over to Lamphel Police along with the victim girl.Speaking to media persons, President of Grace Colony Youth Club, H. Bogen Meitei said that today at around 10.00 am the club members and locals caught Thongram Chingkhei (65) in a shameful situation with a 30 years old woman at his residence located at Grace Colony, Tarung. Babita (name changed) who claimed, herself to be a heart patient was allegedly brought by Chingkhei to help her in treatment.He said Chingkhei took the advantage and raped the woman by giving her drugs without her consent. Bogen further said that Babita is the sixth lady at which Chingkhei had played with the modesty of women.According to source Bogen was jailed for around a year for torturing his wife, Thongram Ibeni who is now staying at her parental house, and was released just few months back. Locals of Grace Colony also said that Chingkhei has committed several other inhuman crimes earlier.
