Woman alleges cheating by lover after looting her sanctity

A 32 years old woman today alleged that a worker of MLA P. Brojen of Wangjing Tentha Assembly constituency had left her after looting her sanctity by cheating her – a married life.  The lady, Purnima (name changed) lodge a complaint at Imphal West Police station regarding the matter.
Speaking to media persons at Manipur press club, Purnima said that she met the worker of MLA identified as Moirangthem Tombisana (40) of Langathel Moirang Leikai at the MLA’s quarter at Babupara Imphal on June 28, 2014. She came to meet the MLA but as he was not at the quarter Moirangthem Tombisana told her to sit and wait at the kitchen room. Purnima said taking advantage of her weakness the person force her to have sex and threaten her of dire consequences if the matter was revealed to anyone. She said that she was ready to tell what had happened to her to others but as Tomsina promise to marry her she remained quite. Later on October 12, 2014 too the two reportedly met again and Tombisana again force her to have sex again. And on December 11, on her plead Tombisana called her and called her at the quarter again and later took her out using the vehicle of the MLA’s wife promising her to elope together. However, she was left at a house belongs to one Keshokumar and Tomisana never return.
Speaking to the media persons at Manipur press club family members of the victim girl said that the matter was reported to the MLA but the MLA try to sideline the matter. They demanded immediate action against the person as the act is no difference from raping her.
