In continuation of the distribution of various winter items, nutritional items, stationery items and other household items by District Administration Imphal East, Sub-Divisional Officer, Keirao Bitra Laishram Roshan today distributed multipurpose jumbo boxes to 403 internally displaced persons residing in Urup OBC Girls Hostel Relief Camp, Yambem Girls Hostel Relief Camp, Temporary shelter home Yambem Mathak and Andro Laopaochum Relief Camp.
The distribution programme was also attended by Sub-Deputy Collector Tulihal, Irom Nirmal Singh.
It may be noted that District Administration Imphal East under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Nivedita Lairenlakpam has been distributing various winter items, nutritional items, stationery items and other household items as goodwill gesture to IDPs residing in all relief camps of Imphal East district as part of Ningol Chakkouba celebration.
IDPs also expressed their gratitude and satisfaction to the gesture of the Deputy Commissioner and her officials for such steps.
