Why abolishing Govt. School to establish private School? – Jadumani

A discussion program against the setting up Ram Krishna Mission School at Uripok Tondonsana High School was held at Manipur Press Club today.
The president of the IPAK Sapamcha Jadamani who presided over the function stated that Tondonsana High School was established in 1950 and has more than 300 students and was the only residential school of the Imphal west district. He said abolishing a govt. school to establish a private school proves the failure of Manipur Govt. education policy.
He further asked that to clarified the hidden agenda on why the state government has sanctioned Rs. 18 crore for establishing the private mission school by abolishing a government own school.
He further added that most of the students of the Tondonsana High School are from poor family, and after abolishing the school where these students will go to study. He further added that the act of the state government is same as killing the future of the student.
President of Pandm Yumnamcha Dilipkumar, president of Uripok United Organisation Kh. Heramani singh, convenor of UNAL L Lonika and Executive Member of Uripok Tondonsana High School Founder-cum Parent Rk. Manisana singh were graced the function as chief guest and guest of honor respectively.
The discussion programme was jointly organized by Uripok Tondonsana High School Founder-cum Parent committee and Uripok Nupi Apunba Lup.
