Imphal, July 14:

MLA Joykishan has stated that the government is responsible for restoring peace in Manipur. During the inauguration of the Thangmeiband Kabui Women’s Organization and Namthalong Youth Club office building and worship hall, he remarked, “When the government says that it can protect the people, then peace will return to Manipur.”
MLA Joykishan called for unity, urging the political parties to stand together. He emphasized that instead of focusing solely on saving their own communities, they should consider the well-being of all of Manipur. He highlighted the essential role of the opposition in the state, noting that they should engage in constructive criticism.
