4th edition of State Level Water Melon festival kicks off today at GM hall Imphal. The festival organized by Nahakpam Foundation for Development is being attended by 10 Water Melon farmers from across the state.
The inaugural function was attended by Deputy Chief Minister, Gaikhangam, Dean of Central Agricultural University, Prof. JM. Laishram, Member of Parliament, Th. Meinya and Prof. Chinglen Maisnam as Chief Guest, President, Special Guest and Resource persons respectively.
The festival will conclude on May 31.
