In view of the ensuing General Election to Lok Sabha, 2024 the ARO’s of 2 Outer Manipur (ST) Parliamentary Constituency for the assembly segment of 47- Karong (ST) AC & 49- Tadubi (ST) and 48- Mao (ST) namely Nimmi Azingwungshi Khamarang and Ningreingam Leisan have notified the facility for voting through Postal Ballot paper to Senior Citizens (AVSC) and Persons with Disabilities (AVPD).
The ARO’s through its notification mentioned that Home visits by Poll teams will provide voting facility through Postal Ballots at their houses on 16th April, 2024 on the first visit and in the event of the said electors being absent at their house during the first visit, the Poll teams will pay a final visit on 17th April, 2024.
The contesting candidates of 2- Outer Manipur (ST) PC may depute their authorized representatives to come and see the sealing of the Postal Ballot Box and dispersal of Polling Teams at DC Office, Mini Secretariat Complex, Senapati on 16th April, 2024 at 7: 00 AM.
They may also depute authorized representatives (including Booth Level Agents) with prior intimation to the RO, 2- OMPC (ST) to watch the process. The appointment of the authorized representative be made in Form 10 used for the appointment of Polling agents in Polling stations with the signature of the candidate or election agents.
