War like situation in Sugnu, Kakching, Yaingangpokpi, Langjing, Kadangband

A day before the proposed visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Manipur today witness war like situation at various places in Manipur after armed Kuki militants attacked to civilians by using sophisticated weapons.
Report reaching here said that heavily armed Kuki militants today attack the villagers of Napet and Korsantabi in Kakching district under Sugnu assembly constituency. As the news spread many people from the surrounding villages thronged to Korsantabi and Sugnu area. State Police team also rushed to the spot. Two state force sustained serious bullet injury in the attack by the armed Kuki militants. Both were undergoing treatment at Jeevan Hospital, Kakching. Two more civilians identified as Th. Naotomba (30 years) son of Shura of Wangoo Pungjao Makhong, A Yaiphaba (17 years) son of Ingoba of Wangoo Ahallup, Kenedy Khumanthem (23 years) son of Late Iboyaima of Laingobi Awang Leikai were also reported killed in the attacked. Many women and children from Sugnu Assembly Constituency fled their villages on fear of attack by the armed Kuki militants while male folk stayed back preparing to fight the heavily armed militants with Dau and daggers.
Meanwhile, large number people today came to the street of Kakching bazar. The irate people stop army vehicles from entering at Sugnu area at Wabagai and Kakching bazar.
At Yaingangpokpi area too four state force and a civilian lady were reported seriously injured in the attack by armed Kuki militants. Similar war like situation happened at Kadangband area at the periphery of Singda Dam. Our reporter witness shooting of machine guns from the side where the Kuki militants were seen.
In front of CRPF camp at Langjing in Imphal West large number of people gathered and stopped all vehicles coming out of the camp. The CRPF personnel fired several rounds of gunshots and tear gas shells to disperse the people.
At Phayeng, two civilians identified as Angom Basanta (29 years), Huirem Hemchandra (26 years) and Angom Premjit (29 years) were reported to have been seriously injured in the attacked by Kuki militants.
