Victims of Manipur violence: 25 pregnant ladies deliver babies at JNIMS

Among the victims of the Manipur violence that are taking shelter at various relief camps in the state 25 pregnant ladies delivered babies at JNIMS hospital.
A statement from the Relief Committee JNIMS said that – between May 3 to June 17 a total of 421 injured people including women and children were treated at JNIMS hospital. Among them, majority are bullet injuries. 7 people who were injured in the violence died in the hospital, the statement of the Relief Committee JNIMS said.
Relief Committee JNIMS has been running for providing assistance to the victims of the violence that has been haunting the state with financial assistance contributed by individuals, clubs, and other organizations. The statement of the committee said that a total of Rs. 4,49,000/- has been spent for the treatment of the victims.
