Victim family of forceful conversion into Naga looking for Government’s help

Widow of Songthu Wanglulo Aimol (55), Chineirang Aimol, complained that she still fails to get any financial assistance from the Government whose husband was killed on October 22 morning 8.30 as he denied to convert into Naga forcefully.
Chineirang revealed the story when a team of activist led by Khomdram Ratan, Convenor, JCILPS and Babloo Loitongbam, Managing Director, Human Right Alert along with BM Yaima, President UPF, and Modun Maring, President NIPCO, visited Aimol Ngairong, under Tengnoupal Police Station, Chandel District where the Songthu Wanglulo Aimol was killed on that unfaithful day of October 22.
During the visit, Chineirang told the team that her husband was killed because he wanted to maintain his Aimol identity and remain as Aimol only.
Chineirang survived by her 5 children is struggling for life and children’s study after the family’s bread earner been killed. Even after been more than two months, no assistance has received from Manipur Government’s side, complained the widow mother.
