Veteran politician and former Thangmeiband MLA, Meinam Bhorot, passed away today, leaving behind a legacy of political service and public engagement in Manipur. A founder member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state, Bhorot played a significant role in shaping the party’s early years and expanding its presence across Manipur.
Bhorot’s political career spanned several decades, during which he represented the Thangmeiband Assembly Constituency in the Manipur Legislative Assembly.
