Imphal, Aug 9:
The proposed economic blockade called by the VDF Welfare Association from midnight tomorrow in protest against the July 6 cabinet meeting resolution in connection with the remuneration of the VDF has been suspended in view of the hardship face by the people due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a statement of the association said.
The statement added that the Chief Minister of Manipur had assured to settle the matter and invited them for talk after the assembly session.
