Valentina appeals for protection and preservation of wildlife and environment

Wildlife Week (October 2-8) is being observed to create awareness and spread the message of the need to preserve and protect the precious wildlife without which humans cannot survive alone. A press release issued by Valentina Elangbam, Brand Ambassador, Chief Minister’s Green Manipur Mission on the occasion made an appeal to the public for participation in protecting the natural flora, fauna, birds and animals as a source of our very survival, and stressed on the need to put a stop to the practices of cruelty to these animals, birds, plants and trees and destroying their habitat. Valentina also expressed her wish to make this world a happy and peaceful place by preserving and protecting the wildlife and the natural environment required for their existence while drawing the attention of the Forest Department and other NGOs and civil society bodies to lend their invaluable support to the efforts.
