Vaccine hesitancy, or is it the failure of the authority to speed up

IT News
Imphal, July 5:

When the number of people across the state who have been tested for Covid -19 positive is 9,20,039, the total number of vaccine doses administered to the beneficiaries remains at 7,38,631.
The report prepared by the state government health Department authority also showed that there has been a tremendous lack of vaccination sessions prepared so that persons desired to get vaccinated have to wait a long time.
After the revised vaccination programme has been prepared with the central government assuring free vaccine to all the states and Union Territories, Manipur remain far behind some states and failed to reach even 7000 jabs per day on the first day (June 21) when the revised vaccination started. For reason best known the vaccination data could not be found for around 3 days after June 21 but from June 26 the number of vaccines doses administered raised reaching the number to around 15 000 per day.
Today, the vaccine administered has again come down to 9,570 doses. Out of this only, 190 people have jabbed the 2nd dose while 9380 people got the first dose. There was no report of vaccination held at Chandel and Pherzawl district today and the vaccine doses administered at Ukhrul district were just 68.
The session prepared for vaccination has been reduced to just 59 sessions. On July 3 the number of session prepared was 142 and why the number of vaccination sessions has been reduced when the covid-19 positive is on the rise is a question asked by most people.
