Imphal : Deputy Chief Minister Yumnam Joykumar Singh, with Education, Labour and Employment Minister Shri Thokchom Radheshyam Singh launched the Uripok Green City, an initiative undertaken by the Panthoibi Housing Finance Company Limited today at Classic Grande.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Yumnam Joykumar Singh speaking as the chief guest at the launching of Uripok Green City said that to improve the economic condition, Manipur must have economic activities. Through certain government financial and support services scheme, if small economic activities could be carried out in mass scale, then it will be possible to retain and have sustainable economic growth, he added.
Education, Labour and Employment Minister Shri Thokchom Radheshyam Singh said there is a need for people to be made aware of the differences between the loan and grant. People usually face difficulties in getting loan. The loan or grants are means to facilitate people to make them capable to stand independently. He appeals to make such facilities reach the people who are in need for an inclusive and sustainable growth.
Chairman and Managing Director Shri Th. Hemo Singh said that success can only be achieved with hard work, discipline and punctuality. Developing housing sector by creating a sound financial institution for ensuring financial inclusion to all the people is the strong foothold bigger dream for their company, he added.
