UPF continues Free AYUSH health programme

The United People’s Front (UPF) Manipur, in association with the National Ayush Mission Manipur, Directorate of Ayush, and Thamchet High School organised a one-day free Ayush health programme for students at the Thamchet High School Nongmeibung Pung, Imphal East district.
During the free health programme for school students, Deputy Director Dr Nandan Atom delivered about Ayush and Dr Oliver spoke about the importance of Yoga. The health programme was attended by nearly 130 students. Students and teaching staff underwent health check-ups, during the one-day free Ayush health programme and medicines were distributed free of cost to the students by the Directorate of Ayush.
Rupachandra, President of UPF, expressed that the organisation is planning to continue free health check-ups at old age homes and orphan homes and remote areas of Thoubal, Kakching, Bishenpur, Imphal East and West District. He further expressed that till now United People’s Front (UPF) Manipur has organised four free health camps and four health programmes to bring a healthy society to Manipur.
