UPF and AYUSH organises Free Health Camp

The National Ayush Mission, Manipur, Directorate of Ayush, Lamphelpat, Keibi High School, and the United People’s Front (UPF) jointly organised a One-Day Free Ayush Health Camp at Keibi High School in the Khundrakpam Assembly Constituency in Imphal East district.
During the one-day free health camp nearly 230 students and local people were examined by a team of four AYUSH doctors. And distributed medicine free of cost who turned up at the one-day free health camp.
One of the Keibi High School teachers Soibam Tikendrajit, expressed extended gratitude to the United People’s Front (UPF) for the health camp for the philanthropic initiative. He further stated that now in some parts of Manipur dengue is spreading. In this situation, a free medical camp organised for the students is very important. He proposed holding this type of free medical camp twice a year. Being an aided school the school faces many problems, but the local MLA constructed the school and the toilet was also constructed by the Zilla Parishad Sanatomba. UPF president N. Rupachandra said that this year the Mera Hou Chongba celebration will not organise due to the conflict since May 3.
