UNMM team reached Moreh; Community meeting held

Following yesterday spurt of violence at Moreh during a mass rally staged demanding ILPS between a group of people and the protestors, leaders of various communities today convened a meeting at Moreh Trade centre today. Works Minister Kh. Ratan, Top Officials of the police department and DC of Chandel including other staffs rushed the spot early today morning to take stock of the condition. To prevent any untoward incident the district administration Chandel has imposed indefinite curfew at Moreh since early morning today.
Meanwhile, members of the United Committee Manipur comprising of L Pishak, Convenor UNMM Bishnupur District, Sobita Mangsatabam , Convenor Women Committee UNMM, Sarita Begum, UNMM Women Committee Convenor Imphal East, Boipu Koireng, Member UNMM, Heshin Haokip, Convenor UNMM Chandel women Committee, Radhapriya, Convenor Imphal West, N Jeevanmala Devi, Member UNMM reached Moreh today after. Soon after they reached Moreh they hold meeting with various leaders of the different communities inhabiting at Moreh and discussed the latest development.
