Proscribed group United National Liberation Front (UNLF) today observed its 56th raising day.
A press release issued by the Director, Department of Publicity M Sak hen said that the raising day function was observed at its various Departments, with main function at its GHQs, GSOs, NCO .
A two minute silence was observed in the beginning of the observance in memory of the party’s founders, leaders, martyrs, followed by paying of floral tributes to the brave souls, the statement added.
Flag hoisting by party, reading of the annual statement of the Central Committee, mark the observance function.
The raising day is also observed at the Tactical Unit with Secretary Department of Organisation and Political Academy Principal and Tactical unit commander and Army with the surrounding villagers, the statement added.
In the 293 Bn Secretary , Department of Publicity and military Academy Principal chairman , Bn CO and staff officer, NCO with the army and the local surrounding villagers.
The observance is also observed at CSF office with Director and office and party cadre and army officer observed.
The raising day is also observed at district and District secretary , Local unit secretary.
The raising day was also observed at its political and Military Academy head office with secretary of Health and family welfare and Board of Military and Political Academy chairman.
UNLF also expressed gratitude to all those groups and individuals who provided physical, moral, monetary support to the party.
The party expressed gratitude to the print and electronic media who wished the party on its 56th raising day.
