UNLF condoles the demise of its cadre

Proscribed group United National Liberation Front (UNLF) and its army wing Manipur Peoples’ Army (MPA) condole the untimely demise of cadre Pte.Tongbram Benerji @ Angamba .

A press statement issued by M. Sak-hen Director Department of publicity, UNLF, said that Pte.Tongbram Benerji @ Angamba, MPA No. 2740/44 batch 44, is the son of  Tongbram Ibochouba and Tongbram Ongbi  Nandini of Wangkhei Thangapat Mapal.  He passed away on  April 20, 2020 Monday morning at around 2.20 am following an illness at an hospital of Khamti area.

Late  Tongbram Benerji  @ Angamba passed out Basic Military training of MPA 44 batch and a regular army of MPA from December 23,  2017 and after a month, and on January, 15, 2018 he was transferred to GHQ 291 battalion. He was arrested on March 1, 2019 by Myanmar Army and served two year imprisonment in Myanmar jail.

The UNLF statement said that the demise of Pte Angamba is a great loss for the revolutionary movement and the people of the Manipur.
