Union Social Welfare Ministers’ visit postponed

Social Welfare and Environment Minister Chand Ghelot who was scheduled to visit Manipur on Monday, the 16th of this month has been postponed till further notice. According to a source close to Imphal Times, there have been complaints of negligence from differently-abled persons in the state, and as part of the immediate relief  measure,  he was to distribute wheel chairs, tricycles and hearing aids to 1000 persons during his two day visit.
