Union Minority Minister Appraised on various Minority Issues of Manipur – AMMOCOC

 A  delegation  of  All  Manipur  Muslim  Organizations’  Co-Ordinating Committee  (AMMOCOC)  led  by President  SM  Jalal  has  met  the  Union  Minister  Mukhtar Abbas  Naqvi  at  his  office  chamber  in  New  Delhi.    The  team  appraised  the  Minister  on  various issues related to the Minorities inhibited in the state and other future developmental plans.
A statement of AMMOCOC stated that SM Jalal  also  submitted a written Memorandum and also minutes the Minister with regards to the  prevailing  situation  of    land  acquisition,  Land  eviction,  Mob  lynching,  Fund  Diversion  of  Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram, the then MsDP (Multi Sectoral Development Programme to non  Minority  areas,  skill  development,  WAQF  Board  and  Manipur  State  Minority  Commission issues.    Additional  Secretary  of  the  Ministry  was  also  apprised  by  the  team  and  he  assured  the same.
As per the statement the  Union  Minister  Mukhtar  Abbas  Naqvi  expressed shocked the  situation  and  ensures  the  team that;  he  will  look  into  the  matter  to  address  the  same  at  the  earliest  possible  and  necessary corrective actions for all the gross misconduct and deprivation of the rights & benefit of Minorities.
The Minister also ensures that he will work towards the development of the Minorities of the state, the statement added.
The team also proposed to conduct a survey for Muslims as a continuation of the Socio- Economic survey done in the year 2004 which will give a real time data for any developmental work for the Muslims.
