Imphal, Sept 20:
Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Jal Shakti, Prahlad Singh Patel today visited Chandel district to look into the Aspirational Districts Programme and review developmental works undertaken at ground level at Penaching village. And also visited Chandel District Hospital and the covid-19 vaccination centre and interacted with doctors and staffs.
The Union Minister further inspected the food processing site at Liwa Khullen in the Chandel district and interacted with the local people.
The Union Minister also visited the district-level competition for Junior Chef (Pre-school Children’s) and Budding Chef (Adolescent) for Healthy Recipes stall organised by DPO-ICDS Chandel of District Administration Chandel.
Further, the union minister went to Chandel DC Office and attended a review meeting about the development of the Central Scheme under the Jal Jeevan Mission and Swachh Bharat Mission. The review meeting was attended by ADM Chandel Md. Firoj Khan highlighted the central scheme which is being developed in the Chandel district.
Union Minister Prahlad Singh Patel expressed that the scheme being developed in the remote village is a dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, so we must fulfill the dream of a self-reliant village.
