UNC’s total shutdown call affects normalcy in Hill districts

The total shutdown called by the Unite Naga Council (UNC) in response to the mass rally organised by the  United Committee Manipur (UCM) has put life in hill district particularly at Senapati district to a complete halt.
Report reaching here said that both the national High Way – Imphal –Jirbam Road and Imphal Mao road bore deserted looks with no vehicles plying on the road. Almost all shops and business establishment in Senapati district remain shuts, government offices and schools remain closed.
