The United Naga Council mourns the sudden demise of Pou D. Dikambui, former President of the then Zeliangrong Union (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland) on 5th November, 2014. Pou DiKambui provided effective leadership to the Zeliangrong people during his tenure and also contributed significantly in decision makings of the United Naga Council. Even after demitting public office he continued to be source of encouragement and wise counsel to the Naga people. His death has left a big vacuum and is a great loss to the Zeliangrong people in particular and the Nagas in general.
