UNACCO observes its 13 Foundation Day at its auditorium located at Khongman Zone III, Imphal East. Managing Director of the UNACCO Group N Irabanta Singh and President of Thongju Kendra United Club Association, Okram Chuthek Sh. Shamu Singh graced the occasion as dignitaries. Speaking on the occasion Irabanta said that UNACCO was established not with the aim of earning but with a view to contribute something for the future generation. He said there is way for the wrong doers. He said education is essential for success story of a person. He also said that North East state has been provided 10,000 KW of power but this cannot be utilised properly which proves that people are not rendering service for the future of human kinds.“Power is the most important commodities or making a developed nation but people of the state has reduced utilisation o power which means that the society is reversing towards the stone age”, he said.He urther said that the UNACCO will take up all necessary measures to protect and preserve the memorial site of Ibodhou Khongnag Thaba.UNACCO is a company which has been successfully running various businesses in the state. Around 2000 people are being employed in various business sectors run by the company including UNACCO School, UNACCO Micro Finance, ICON and UNACCO Press.
