UKLF warns serious consequences if fail to take permission for PMGSY work in Chandel district

Armed group United Kuki Liberation Front (UKLF) has clarified that the outfit has no idea of the news item appeared in some of the dailies which is associated with UKLF and PMGSY work as it was done without proper name, title and designation. Terming it as unfortunate the UKLF condemn it.
The outfit further said that no individuals or firms can take up any developmental works particularly PMGSY in their operational area without prior permission.
In a statement the outfit said that PMGSY Package No.MN0 296 Khangbarol to Tuikong and that of Dingpi area in Chandel district including Sajik Tampak area, Pallel and Sugnu area should not be taken up without the knowledge and concern of UKLF.
It further added that any individual/firm who are awarded PMGSY work tender without the knowledge and permission of UKLF will not be allowed to work in their area.
The outfit further warned the concern departmental staff of serious consequences if they conduct survey works in the area.
“These conditions on developmental works in our area are done in view of quality maintenance during work implementation. In the past, some individuals/firms implemented PMGSY work with poor quality and it is the common people who suffer in the end”, the UKLF statement said.
