UKLF refutes carrying of weapon by its leaders

United Kuki Liberation Front (UKLF) today said that the Women Society press statement that appeared in state dailies alleging our Pallel town commander Thanglet and Finance Dept. worker Joseph of carrying AK rifles and making sneering remarks against them at Aimol Satu playground on the evening of April 16 , around 8pm was totally false, fabricated and misleading. The press statement said that none of their cadres move around in bolero vehicle that evening in Aimol area.
The UKLF said that they had never issued either the town commander or the finance deptt. worker a Bolero vehicle or AK rifles, though SoO registered weapons were issued in exceptional cases for personal security.
It appealed the Aimol civil societies not to implicate the organization in matters related to Aimol tribe internal crisis and added that let the Aimol tribes resolve issues within themselves amicably, for the sake of peaceful co-existence.
