UKAL and JCU relax ban against 60 MLAs of Manipur

Umanglai Kanba Lup (UKAL) and Joint Committee on Umanglai (JCU) today said that the two organizations have relaxed the ban imposed against 60 MLAs restricting them from entering at any Umanglai till the 19th of October, 2014.This was stated by Moirangthem Naokhamba, spokesperson of JCU during a press meet held at the office of UKAL, Palace Compound.During the press meet he further said that the ban was imposed against the Third Amendment Bill of Shree Govindajee Temple Board. He added that the decision to relax the ban is taken following a talk between the Chief Minister of the state and a 14 members’ team comprising of members of  JCU and UKAL. In the meeting Chief Minister has assured to announce his decision over the matter on the 19th of Oct in the Mera Meefam.
