Imphal West police commando arrested two cadres of proscribed KYKL and UKLF from Paona Keithel on August 7. The arrested KYKL cadre has been identified as Loitongbam Gunindro @ Chabi (24) son of L. Tomba of Wangoo Lupa Marup. He is presently staying at Kiyamgei Maning Leikai. The arrested UKLF cadre has been identified as Jacob Haokip (37), son of late Lalkholun Haokip of Gampijang Village Saikul. He is presently staying at Mantiprukhri. A demand letter along with a cell phone and 2 sim cards were reported to have been seized from his possession.
