Imphal West district Commando arrested an UG suspected to be cadre of proscribed PLA from Keishampat Leimajam Leikai at around 8:30 am.
The suspected cadre has been identified as Maisnam Salaikhomba Luwang @ Hitler @Tamthiba (30yrs) s/o (L) M. Ibungnungshi Meitei of Keishampat Leimajam Leikai. A police source said that the arrested person joined the said organization in the year 2008 and completed his basic military training at Lejik, Myanmar for 4 months and allotted army no. 2907 of 34 batch and presently working under the command of s/s Lieutenant Ravi of PLA organization.
The IW CDO team recovered two mobile handset (1) one Sony mobile handset model no. MT25i and (2) Desire mobile handset model no. Desire 530 from his possession.
