Imphal, April 28: The Meitei Huyen Langlon Sintam Sanglen (Satjal Academy) of Phoijing Chingning Branch, Nambol observed its 3rd Rising day celebration today at Phoijing Chingning, Primary Ground of Nambol under the sponsorship of Universal Friendship Organisation.
Konthoujam Sharat Singh, MLA of Konthoujam A.C; RK Rajendro Singh, Manipur Human Rights Commission; L Biramani Khuman, Nambol Municipal Council;M Priyokumar Luwang, Councillor Ward No. 17of Phoijing Chingning, M Prema Devi, Councillor Ward No. 18 of Thangtek; TM Rajen Ayangba, President of Japanese Hospital, Manipur and Kangabam Rabel, Vice Chairman Bar Counsel of Manipur attended the function as Chief Guest, President and Guest of Honour, respectively.
The celebration begins with more than 200 members wearing black uniform giving general salute to the “Pakhangba” flag, symbol of Satjal along with the theme song of Satjal.
More than 500 individuals also attended the function.
