UCO Bank Phubala Branch celebrated the 84th Foundation Day of UCO Bank with great enthusiasm and a strong sense of pride on 6 January 2026 marking more than eight decades of dedicated service to the nation. The occasion reflected the bank’s enduring legacy of trust, resilience, and commitment to inclusive banking.
The celebration was graced by the presence of legendary singer Loukrakpam Jayanta (Tapta), whose distinguished contribution to Manipuri culture added grace and inspiration to the event. Officials and staff of MSRLM (Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission) along with Self-Help Group (SHG) beneficiaries also joined the celebration, highlighting the bank’s close association with community development and rural empowerment.

UCO Bank, Imphal Branch also organized a visit to “The Hope Home”, children’s home at Takyel Khongbal Maning Leikai, reaffirming the Bank’s commitment to community welfare and social responsibility. Bank officials and staff interacted warmly with the children, sharing moments of joy and encouragement. On the occasion, essential items and refreshments were distributed to the inmates of the Home. The management and children of Hope Home expressed their gratitude for the gesture, making the Foundation Day celebration a meaningful and memorable one.
