Protest demanding revelation of the Frame work agreement is being underway at different part of the valley area under the aegis of the United Committee Manipur. The UCM and other civil society has been opposing any form of special status to the NSCN-IM which might distort the integrity of thge state.
meanwhile the UNC , the frontal organisation of the NSCN IM has been warning all Nagas who support the Imphal base civil society body. The UNC also urged the center to settle the Naga issue at the earliest possible time.
