UCM presented gifts to elders of Wairangba Village on Annual Traditional and Cultural Day

Members of the United Committee Manipur (UCM) have presented gifts to the elders of the Wairangbam Village in Tamenglong Village while attending the Annual Traditional and Cultural Day on January 2.
President of the UCM Joychandra Konthoujam attended the cultural programme as Chief Guest while Vice Chairman of the Wairangba Village Authority presided over the function . Secretary General of the UCM Ng. Deba also graced the occasion as Guest of Honour.
Leaders of the UCM expressed happiness towards the villagers for their kind gesture and for inviting the UCM to attend the joyous moments. Joychandra Konthoujam while speaking on the occasion said that such a traditional cultural day is the need of the of the hour as it protect one’s identity.
