TYC Feted Meritorious Students in Tengnoupal

 Meritorious students of Tengnoupal who passed in the High School Leaving Certification (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certification (HSSLC) Examination 2018 conducted by the State Board and Council as well as the CBSE were feted by the Tengnoupal Youth Club (TYC) at Community hall in Tengnoupal District Headquarters today.
Tengnoupal district Deputy Commissioner A.Tombikanta Singh ,IAS, Superintendent of Police of Tengnoupal District Police Dr.S.Ibomcha Singh,MPS, Zonal Education Officer Tengnoupal Dr.Arunkumar and Major of 12AR Sandeep attended the felicitation program as chief guest, functional president and guest of honours respectively.
Speaking at the function, DC Tombikanta stated that students should have good foundation in order to become successful persons in their future lives and be a part of collective human resource which is needed for the betterment of the society.
In appreciation of their performance, 42 meritorious students (31 Students of class -X, 10 Students of Class -XII and 1 Students of Class XII in CBSE) who secured over 66 % and letter marks in the HSLC, HSSLC and CBSE Examination 2018 were presented a memento along with cash prize.The awards were sponsored by the Tengnoupal Deputy Commissioner  A.Tombikanta Singh,IAS.
