Moreh, July 5: Police arrested two thieves at Prem Nagar under Moreh Ward No.4 of Tengnoupal district yesterday afternoon in connection with case of two robberies reported at the JMIC, Moreh Court Complex on June 29 and July 3.
One Acer computer set, one ceiling fan and one folding almirah which were stolen from the JMIC Moreh court complex were recovered from their possession, police said.
Police identified the duo as Md Muna @ Asad, 34, son of Md.Abdul Rajak of Moreh Ward. No. 5 and Thongkhomang Haokip, 33, son of Ngamjathang Haokip, a resident of Sapermeina, presently staying at Dalpati of Moreh Ward. No.2.
The operation was carried out by a team of Moreh Police led by its SDPO Lawrence K Munluo and OC Inspector H Chaoba Singh.
