Two Primary Health Centre located at Charangpat and Khoirom in Wangkhem Assembly Constituency in Thoubal District under District Health Society, Thoubal has launched 24×7 service with an aim to provide better health services to the people on Thursday.
Speaking at the function, K.Meghachandra Singh, Parliamentary Secretary MI & IPR, Manipur who is also Wangkhem AC,MLA said, “To cater the medical needs of the people, a 24×7 service has been opened. However, for the smooth functioning of the service, people should contribute collectively and co-operate with the medical staff of the PHC” .
CMO/District Mission Director of District Health Society, Thoubal, Government of Manipur, Dr .N.Jayenta Kumar asserted that with the opening of the 24×7 service, medical staff of Khoirom and Charangpat
PHC would be able to provide the medical needs of the people relentlessly. L.Anita Leima, Pradhan, Charangpat GP, Dr. Rk. Kshemitra, Medical Officer (i/c),PHC Charangpat, Salam Kumar Singh, Pradhan, Leirongthel Ningel GP, Dr. A. Rajen Singh, Medical Officer (i/c),PHC Khoirom and ASHA’s and other medical staffs also attended the inaugural function among others.
