Two-month vocational training programme for women concludes

A two-month vocational training programme for women, organised by the Lions Club of Imphal Leimarol, concluded yesterday with a closing function marked by the presence of key dignitaries. The training was funded under the District Fund Foundation (DFF) Grant of Lions Clubs International, District 322D.
The concluding function was chaired by Lion Th. Kesho Singh, PMJF, District Governor. Lion H. Manikumar Singh, MJF, PDG and DFF Grant Facilitator, attended as the Chief Guest, while Lion Kh. Suniti Devi, MJF, served as the Guest of Honour and President of the event.
Lion Memyo Ningombi, who served as the Project Chairperson, highlighted the objectives and outcomes of the training programme. The initiative aimed to empower women through skill development, enabling them to become self-reliant and financially independent.
During the function, the dignitaries applauded the participants for their dedication and encouraged them to utilise their newly acquired skills to create sustainable livelihoods. Certificates were distributed to the trainees upon completion of the programme.
