Inside All India Radio, Imphal campus, two CRPF personnel got injured in a twin blast this evening.
Two hand grenades have been thrown by unknown miscreants at the sentry post at the North-Eastern corner of AIR Imphal campus at around 5:14 this evening. The two grenades exploded immediately one after another. Two CRPF personnel posted at AIR, Imphal got injured in the incident. The conditions of the injured personnel are out of danger. Window glasses of the security barrack at AIR, Imphal got partially damaged in the twin blast.
In another blast near the M-Sector, at which the offices of Public Relation Officers of PIB(Defence Wing) and Assam Rifles are located, one Assam Rifles personnel got injured. The blast took place at around 4:45 this evening near the M-Sector just few metres away from the Raj Bhavan under City Police Station in Imphal.
