Twin statues of Chingsubam Akaba and R Suisa to be unveiled

Twin statues of the late, R Suisa and Chingsubam Akaba to be unveiled at Hongmhn Tangkhul Village, Saikul, Senapati District on Friday, 17th April.
Addressing a press meet today at the residence of Shivdutta Luwang, Editor, Pandam newspaper at Waheng Leikai, Imphal, Mathankhui Zimik, Vice President of R Suisa Trust said that unveiling twin statues of the late two leaders is very much important which will help unite both the communities and subside communal thoughts. The late two leaders had identical ideologies as both taught us to respect each other’s religions and thus the twin statues with the theme of love, peace and fraternity will mark a symbol of unity between all the communities, said Mathankhui Zimik.
N Tomba, Trustee member, Luchingpurel Chingsubam Akaba Ningshing Lup (LUCANIL) said that the twin statues of the late two leaders will be unveiled on Friday, 17th April at Hongmhn Tangkhul Village, Saikul, Senapati District as a part of 44th death anniversary commemoration of R Suisa. He appealed every individuals to present at the function and said there are more plans to erect statues of the two leaders at hill districts.
