Twin bandh tomorrow:Muslim body also calls 24 hour bandh demanding white paper of Framework agreement

Imphal March 25: In addition to the 17 hours general strike called by students’ body DESAM from midnight today , another muslim body called Manipur Muslim Welfare Association has also called 24 hours Manipur Bandh from 6 pm today.
However, the demand of the bandh called by the Muslim body is different from that of the students’ body DESAM.
DESAM called the general strike from midnight today  against the inclusion of Ashab Uddin, the MLA from Jiribam Assembly Constituency as Parliamentary secretary to the N. Biren led Government, While , the Manipur Muslim Welfare Organisation called the 24 hour bandh demanding white paper of the frame work agreement signed between the government of India and the NSCN-IM and also to passed the pending Inner Line Permit System bandh.
Talking to reporters at Manipur press Club today afternoon Abdulah Pathan- President of the Manipur Muslim Welfare organization said that the organization demands the present BJP led government to produce the white paper of the Frame Work Agreement between the NSCN-IM and the Government of India within 24 hours. He also said that the government of Manipur should also pass the ILPS Bill to chalk out the illegal immigrants from the state which has been pending in the state assembly since the last assembly.
On the other hand the Muslim body also criticizes the NPF government over its reluctant to identify themselves as Manipuri.
President of the Manipur Muslim Welfare Association questioned the state government headed by the BJP to reply the hidden agenda behind the induction of the NPF MLAs as Ministers to the state government.
