While condemning the killing of two labourers by cadres of SoO signatory Kuki Revolutionary Front (KRF) on May 13, the Thadou Students’ Association (TSA) General head Quarter strongly voice against the counter killing of a truck driver and attacked to two helper at Patsoi area. The TSA statement however term the two labourers as KCP(Nando) group as the statement issued to media houses said that the TSA-GHQ vehemently condemn the unintentional Killing of two KCP (Nando) group by an SoO signatory group KRF .
The students’ body further added that it is a crime to attack and killed innocent person in an event where a bandh is called and those vehicle plying on the road even after complete torched, the driver being brutally assaulted till death.
“ We also extend our heartfelt grief and pain for the torching of Church by the mob in Patsoi area which is the residence of one of the killed KCP (Nando) group. Let the necessary compensation to re-build the church be funded immediately by the Government at the earliest so as to maintain secular fraternity in a nation where largest secularism is practiced and conferred in its constitution” , the TSA statement said.
The students’ body appealed individuals in each community to maintain peace and harmony which is a regards and accordance to secularism.
