A truck carrying straw was caught in fir after it contacted HT electric line at Malom Yaral Loukol at around 2. 20 pm today. The registration number of the truck is MN01 6774. The driver of the truck has been identified as Yumnam Romel (46) of Malom Tuliyaima Awang Leikai.The body of the truck was partially burnt as the locals of the surrounding extinguished the fire using water and sands. The driver too escaped unhurt.
