Tripartite Talk: Centre now throw the ball to State

Imphal, Oct 6: State government is now put between the devil and the deep blue see when it comes to the tripartite talk between UNC, Central govt. and the state govt. which was held today at Senapati district head quarter.
The UNC still stands with its demands for roll back of the new district creation, on the other hand the state government is left with no choice but to stand in favour of the district creation as it is for administrative convenience.
Meanwhile, Satyendra Garg, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), in-charge of Northeast, who chaired the talk had earlier said that the center has nothing to do with the solution of the talk as it is the state government which had to take the decision.
