Fitting tribute was paid today to the portrait of late Thangjam Dwijamani, a one-time journalist who died after being hit by a bullet while covering a news item on this day in 2012.
MLA Khumukcham Joykishan, AMWJU President Bijoy Kakchingtabam, and Thangmeiband United Club President Pratap among others led the floral paying ceremony held at the martyrdom of the late journalist at Cheirao Ching in Imphal West district.
MLA Khumukcham Joykishan had expressed his desire to develop the memorial site of the journalist who died while on duty.
