Tribunal hearing for disqualification of 5 former MSCP MLAs rescheduled on 26 Sept.

The tribunal established to pass judgement on the move to disqualify five MLAs from the MSCP has rescheduled the hearing on September 26, 2014. The five MLAs of MSCP who jointly declared the merger of MSCP to INC Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee and subsequently moved for disqualification for the act were also present along with their advocates before the tribunal headed by Speaker TH Lokeshwar. The five MLAs: P Brojendro of Wangjing Tentha, Nemcha Kipgen of Kangpokpi, K Thamarjit of Keirao, RK Imo of Sagolband and Jamhamlung of Tamenglong appealed for more time to submit their reply to the show cause notice served to them. Adim Pamei, President of MSCP had demanded the disqualification of the five MLAs just a few days after the declaration of the merger on April 3, 2014.
