Training Programme on “Value Addition of Locally Available Bio resources”

Thoubal, Oct.3: A three-day training programme on “Value Addition of Locally Available Bioresources” was launched on Tuesday at the Premises of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Thoubal.
The training programme sponsored by Manipur State Farmers’ Agribusiness Consortium (SFAC) has been organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Thoubal, Department of Agriculture Govt. of Manipur.
Ph.Rajendra  Singh Director of Agriculture Manipur,  P.Surbala, Tura Politechnique of Food Technologist and Mohendra Singh Khaidem Joint Director of Agriculture Manipur attended the opening function as the chief guest, guests of honour and President respectively.
N.Tomba Singh, SMS (Agronomy) spoke on “Cultivation of Pulses & Oilseeds for Vallue Addition”, P.Surbala, Tura Politechnique of Food Technologist Spoke on “Demonstration on Pineapple Value Added Products” while Dr. Y.Prabhabati Devi ACTO, KVK Chandel Spoke on “Preservation Techniques of Value Added Products of Lemon & U-morok” and Dr.S.Zeshmarani, SMS (Very. & AH) Spoke on “Conservation and Value Addition of Locally Available Feeds for Feeding Livestock”.
N.Tomba Singh,SMS (Agronomy), Ng.Joykumar Singh,Asst.Prof.CAU Imphal, L.Babita Devi Prog.Asst (Computer), S.Sumangal, SMS (PGB) and Rk.Lembisana Devi, SMS (Home SC) delivered speeches as the resource persons on the second day.
