A one day on field training on “ How coffee plantation should carry out” was held at Waroi Ching of Oinam Assembly Constituency, Bishnupur District today under the aegis of Coffee Board of India N-E region and the Khadi & Village Industry Board, Manipur which is the state nodal agency for the plantation of coffee in Manipur.
Laishram Radhakishwor Singh, MLA, Oinam Assembly Constituency and Chairman Khadi &Village Industry Board Manipur also Chairman Manipur pollution control Board was the chief guest during the training session.Miranda Sanjenbam, Extension Inspector Coffee Board of India N-E region was the resource person. N.Jugindro Singh, Member Secretary, Khadi & Village Industry Board, Manipur was also present in the training program. About 30 aspirant coffee growers of Waroi Ching attended the training. Around 3 hectares of land has already started coffee plantation successfully at the Waroi Ching.
