Training of Eem Team held in Bishnupur

The District Election Office, Bishnupur today organised a training program for the Election Expenditure Monitoring Teams of the district at C.I. College in Bishnupur in connection with the upcoming state assembly election.
Speaking as the Resource Person of the training, Ng. Rajesh Singh, State Nodal Officer for Election Expenditure Monitoring explained in length about the roles and responsibilities of the various election expenditure monitoring teams comprising of Flying Squad, Static Surveillance Team, Video Surveillance Team, Video Viewing Team and Accounting team.
Highlighting that one constituency in the district is included among the six expenditure sensitive constituencies of the State, Shri Rajesh Singh requested EEM teams to be extra vigilant in performing their duties. The State Nodal Officer further motivated the members of different teams to co-operate with one another and contribute their best for a free and fair conduct of election. The Election Expenditure teams were also briefed on monitoring mechanisms including compilation of daily activity reports pertaining to Model Code of Conduct complaints and violations.
Later in the training, L. Ratankumar Singh, Nodal Officer EEM Bishnupur and K. Johnson Singh, Asst. Nodal Officer EEM, Bishnupur led the evaluation session to summarize key points of the training and to consolidate team formation among the participants. Ejaj Hassan, AC to DC Bishnupur and RK Dayananda Singh, Nodal Officer Training, Bishnupur also contributed their valuable inputs in the training.
